The vast, pristine wilderness of the Russian Arctic is, of course, one of the best places in the world to spot all sorts of rare species of bird.

Although on most of our trips in the Russian Arctic, guests will likely see some rare birds; we run two trips that actually include days dedicated to bird spotting and visits to bird rookeries:

1. Polar bear, walrus and bird spotting on the Taymyr Peninsula

2. Nomads, whale hunters, polar bears and walrus rookeries (Chukotka)
